Writing is a way of life…
At Author Unlimited we believe that writing will change you. The process stretches and expands you. Both through the clarity you get from expressing your thoughts, and from the impact and positioning from your published works.
Your books become something bigger than you. A legacy.
And it’s about so much more than ‘the book’
Writing is accessible to anyone. And in the digital age, being an author is accessible to anyone. Whether you choose to go the traditional route of a hard copy book (we love those!), whether you choose ebooks and digital publishing.
Or whether you go beyond the book — to take your message onto a bigger stage and become a leader and a luminary. Being an author allows you to do all of that.
You can take your place on the stage — literally — with speaking, and you can take it virtually — by being a teacher, a mentor, an inspiration to someone by sharing what you know and what you’ve learned.
What we stand for
Our message is simple: we want to inspire, motivate and equip you to be your best ‘you’ so that you can get your work into the world and make a bigger difference.
The practical details
Author Unlimited is a team effort. We are a small group of writers and researchers, led by founder and editor, Cathy Presland.
When you sign up to our weekly newsletter you get the best content to support your author journey; content to help you write, publish and grow a business around what you know and do.
We scour the web and we read extensively to bring you relevant, useful, and evidence-based articles. It’s our mission to bring you the best so that you can have more of an impact.
Cathy Presland, a former economist, has over two decades of experience across government, international organisations, corporate, business, and non-profits.

In her career as an economist Cathy advised governments and organisations around the world. She set up a micro-credit fund for women, negotiated European regulations, managed multi-billion pound economic programmes, and designed and led global anti-poverty initiatives.
She now works with experts and professionals who want to be known and be well-rewarded for what they do. She helps you write and publish your expertise, share your vision and make an impact with what you know.
